PLEASE READ…important login information

In July 2007, PMI launched our newly designed website.   One of the many improvements included in this redesign was a move away from an ID and password login credential system to a Username and password system. The Username system allows users to select what their Username would be rather than having to use their PMI ID.   If you have already converted from a PMI ID password to a Username and password, please user your new username to log in. If not, please use you PMI ID and password to access the site.

If you have any questions, please contact customer care PMI Customer Care at pmihq@pmi.org, +610-356-4600, option 8 or by visiting the Members Area of PMI's website.

PMI has created communities that are available to users, such as PMI Members, who are actively involved in a common area of interest.  To access any Community Site, users are required to Login to the Online Community.

PMI Online Community Login requires the following:

If PMI validates your PMI ID Number and Password, the First Name, Last Name and Primary Email on record with PMI will be used to setup your Online Community account.  Any changes to the information must be made by contacting PMI Customer Care at pmihq@pmi.org, +610-356-4600, option 8 or by visiting the Members Area of PMI's website.

Once login is complete, the page you logged in from will refresh itself and navigation buttons will appear in the top right corner of the web browser.  Navigation will include a "Sites" button and may include a "MyTeams" button.

The "Sites" navigation button will display a drop-down list with a "Sites Map" command.  Select "Sites Map" to view all the Community Sites that you have permission to access; be sure to select "Expand All" to view full site map list.  Community Site access is granted to users based on permissions maintained by the Project Management Institute.  For Example, a user must be a PMI Member to access the PMI Member Community Site... or be a PMI Registered Education Provider to access the PMI Registered Education Provider Community Site, etc.

The "MyTeams" navigation button will display a drop-down list with a "MyTeams List" command.   Select "MyTeams List" to view all the Team Sites you have been invited to and accepted.  PMI Headquarters has leveraged Team Sites to coordinate and manage current virtual projects and committees.  The creation and management of all Team Sites is the sole responsibility of PMI Headquarters. Access to Team Sites is granted by invitation only to PMI Volunteers who are participating on specific Teams.   A user must  receive and accept an invitation to join a Team Site before they will see "MyTeams" in their navigation.

Returning users will simply Login and their navigation will be updated accordingly.
