PMI has created Community Sites within the PMI Online Community to serve a variety of interests and usergroups. *Prior to entering any community site, you must login and have permission.
Sites Available
- PMI Sample Community: Any user may enter this community site. PMI established the Sample Community to provide a preview of community site functionality.
- PMI Member Community Site: Users must be current PMI Members to enter this community site. This community was established as a place for PMI members to gain valuable information and communicate with one another. The Member Community site contains discussion forums and surveys that allow participants to exchange ideas about various project management topics and articles. Significant PMI and project management news and shared files containing useful project management information can also be accessed on the site. The topics and content will change regularly, so visit often to share your thoughts, opinions and best practices, gain new information, and learn from your peers. Any current PMI member is welcome to review and participate in the PMI Member Community. You will need a valid PMI ID number and member password to access the site.
- PMI Registered Education Provider (REP) Community Site: Users must be currently enrolled in the R.E.P. Program as a training provider to enter this community site. The objective is to give R.E.P.s a single web portal for breaking news and information pertaining to the Registered Education Provider Program. You will need a valid PMI ID number and R.E.P. password to access the site. If you are not an enrolled training provider, but wish more information regarding the R.E.P. Program, please visit the PMI R.E.P. Web site.
- PMI Component Leadership Community Site: Users must be current PMI Component Leaders to enter this community. The Component Leadership Online Community is the primary portal for Component Leaders to access information and documents to support the development and administration of their component. The Component Leadership Online Community provides an interaction section of discussions and surveys, which allows for better communication between Leaders and the Worldwide Component Affairs Department.
- PMI Board Nominations and Elections Community: Users must be eligible members to enter this community and register support for Petitioners only once. At the direction of the PMI Board of Directors, this Nominations and Elections Online Community has been created to provide a centralized depository for all nomination and election information, as well as a vehicle to electronically collect signatures of eligible members supporting individuals seeking a self-nomination via petition (Petitioners).
- PMI Project Management Research Community: Users must be able to state their project management research interest or have participated in one of the PMI Research Program events or activities. The PMI Research Online Community is a secure and friendly environment for learning and networking between face-to-face events, such as the biennial PMI Research Conference and the quarterly Research Program Working Sessions at Global Congress locations. Non-PMI members are welcome, but must give postal contact information to obtain their PMI ID and password.
